                           Map Description
You spawn in a 500 by 500 map of the city. The map is divided into 3 zones by Blue Sky Avenue and Melee Place, which run from west to east across the entire city. Referring to them as zones 1 through 3, with 1 being the southernmost, here are the buildings listed in order from west to east:
• Zone 1: ["The Bank", "Super Gun Bang Pow", "Eats Cafe", "Whiskey Well", "Budleaf Park", "The Krips Crib"]
• Zone 2: ["Gumbi Prison", "Lazy Larry's New and Used Cars", "Municipal Firestation", "The Arcacino"]
• Zone 3: ["Rage HQ", "Police Station", "The Respawn Retreat"]

This map has been updated, and so you will find there are east-west streets north of Melee Place, one running behind the police station and Respawn Retreat, and another further north that fronts a gun store in the northwest quadrant and the post office just east of it. Beyond 500 is the freeway, which runs north to south and borders the east side of the city. Beyond the highway to the east lies the forest.
Some new buildings have been added in the city:
• Dr. McDonald's house is just to the east of the Respawn Retreat
• The Hodge Podge Lodge is even further east
• There is now an abandoned warehouse north of the Krips Crib
• The post office, where you can pick up packages for delivery, is just east of Marry's in the northwest quadrant of the map

All of these buildings are trackable by pressing B.
Note: This map description is intentionally left vague to encourage you to explore. Certain items only spawn in some places, so if you are having difficulties finding a good gun, try looking around.

                         Battlefield Modes
There is a kiosk at 250, 600 in the battlefield where you can go to trigger LMS missions. You can do classic free-for-all LMS, or you can choose one of several modes. In the specific modes, a single gun from the selected category will be chosen as well as a single type of explosive. It works like traditional LMS so the last person standing wins!

                           Chat Commands
All of the chat commands are prefixed with a slash (/) symbol. This means you'll use slash to open the chat window, then a second slash to prefix your command.
• /n <message>: chat on the nearby channel (Alt+/ as a shortcut).
• /t <message>: chat on the team channel (Shift+/ as a shortcut).
• /tcreate <team name>: Create a new team with the desired name
• /tinvite <player name>: Invite a player to your team. Note, this command accepts partial matches, so you don't have to type the entire name
• /tleave: Leave the team you are currently a part of
• /twho: See who is in your team
• /stats: Get your total kill and death stats, tracked from your first account creation
• /toggle <channel>: Toggles channels. E.g., /toggle connections or /toggle death
• /changes <optional-amount>: View the server-side change log with an optional amount limit; defaults to 5 if none provided. Press enter on a change to view the full text
• /AFK: Go AFK; this command moves you to the AFK zone. However, you must have not been hit by a weapon or fired a weapon within the last minute of using this command
• /bf: Enter the battlefield! Note that this will move you into the battlefield and set your health to max if you're not already there, else it will respawn you (including resetting inventory and health) back onto the main map
• /bfm: When there is an LMS mission counting down to start, this will sign you up to participate in it

                               Newbies
Newcomers receive a grace period of 15 kills. Players with fewer than 15 kills, denoted by the newbie marker in the tracking menu, are part of this category. We kindly ask experienced players to consider this when selecting their targets. While attacking them is allowed, we encourage a fair approach, avoiding repetitive engagements that may hinder their initial experience in the game.

                             Gameplay
The objective is to kill as many people as you can without being killed yourself. There are various weapons you can get to complete this objective, from pistols to rocket launchers, knives to pool sticks; Rage has plenty of options for the aspiring murderer.
You collect items by walking over them, and you use them in various ways depending on the item. Tab through your inventory until you come to the item you want and press enter. If it is a bomb or other consumable, you will use it. If it is a gun, you will wield it. Press control to fire your guns. When you hit a target, you will hear a sound in addition to your gunfire to confirm a successful hit.

                              Missions
There are several missions available in the game for you to activate. Some you can solo, and some that are almost impossible without a team. You can find these by locating some of the kiosks around the map.
